Autonomous Systems

The increasing prevalence of autonomous systems raises important questions for social psychology. How do we understand and interact with machines that appear to possess agency but lack the kinds of “minds” we evolved and developed to understand. We have been exploring these topics in the Lifelike Lab with our Social Driving Simulator.
